Ajay’s Last CRUNCH blog
I’ve got a new job Crunchers, and that’s why I’m leaving CRUNCH. Before I go, I want to say something to you that I hope you will remember: Have fun.
I know I said it all the time on the show but it really is an important thing to remember, not just for Saturdays but for every day for the rest of your life. Having fun.
To me, “having fun” is the meaning of life.
You only get to live once and I think you will enjoy life a lot better if you have as much fun as possible. I’m not trying to convince you to ignore responsibilities and other important things in life or to ignore other people and only focus on having your own fun. That’s almost impossible, because fun is contagious! We all know that having fun by yourself isn’t nearly as fun as having fun with other people. It’s especially obvious with all the fun we’ve had together on CRUNCH!
Of course CRUNCH will continue next week with a new host who will have fun with you every Saturday morning. CRUNCH will be different with that new host, but that’s how life is: constantly changing and evolving. But with all of the changes in life there is one thing you should try to keep consistent: Having fun.
So, make choices in life that will give you the most opportunity to have fun. Pick classes in school that you will have fun in. Be friends with the people you have fun with, not the people who make you stress out and worry. Keep doing the things that you have the most fun doing and ignore what other people think of you doing them. When you’re old enough to start working, seek out a job that you’ll have fun doing. Try to work with people who you will have fun working with.
Also, never stop doing the things that you like to do. Even if other people may think they’re silly. I sleep with a teddy bear. I make sound effects when I open doors or put things down and I still make funny faces all the time because I have fun doing those things!
So now the time has come for me to go and have lots of fun at my new job. I hope you can come along and have fun with me there too. A few of you already have.
I’m not going to say goodbye, instead I’ll say see you later.
See you later Carlos, Joyce and Simon and all my other friends at YTV. See you later Sam, Barry, Mom & Dad, Spike, Tike, the SK Spy, Sir Joffery and even Zojo. The Voice Inside My Head will of course be coming with me to my new space and I hope you will too.
Finally, see you later Crunchers.
It truly has been fun.
That’s all.
